The length of a rectangular flower garden is 3 meters longer than it’s wursts. The area of the garden is 28 square meters.

a. Write a variable expression for the length if w represents the width.

b. Write a quadratic equation that you can use to find the width of the garden. Let one side be a polynomial in standard form and let the other side equal 0.

c. Rewrite the equation so that the polynomial is in factored form.

d. Find the width of the garden.
