    President Andrew Johnson’s goal for Reconstruction:

    Presidential reconstruction played a major role in the history because after the assassination of Lincoln it was President Andrew Johnson along with is ministers planned out for reconstruction. Some of the important points were the land would be restored to the people except for the slaves.

    Those who owned a large amount of money must pardon to the government and the States can be fully restored into Union only after the new constitution id adopted and he was the one who abolished slavery. In the new constitution the African Americans were not allowed to participate. These were some of the main aims of the Presidential reconstruction.
