Paint these directions on your fingers (and thumb).

Using your right hand, B is point out of the page. Your fingers are mutually perpendicular.

Many critters like dogs are color blind. Those poor unfortunates see only gray. We have a wider range. Our eyes do see color (visible light) but we are not limited. The correct answer is B.
